Abstract: Pressure and output properties of electro-hydraulic single
rod cylinder systems controlled with symmetrical and asymmetrical valves
respectively are studied. Some basic static properties are revealed and
asymmetrical valve controlled single rod cylinder systems are supposed
to be the best way to develop high performance hydraulic control. Load
match is discussed and correspondingly some guidelines are given for the
system design. Theoretical foundation is established as to do some
further research of its control strategy and improve the performance of
such kind of system.
