RESEARCH OF ROLL PROFILE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM BASED ON SONIC CIRCULATION AND
MULTI-PULSE ECHO TECHNIQUE

Abstract: A novel measurement of roll profile is introduced, and the composition and the error compensation analysis of this system are present. The testing method of the system is based on the sonic circulation and multi-pulse echo technique which can conquer the limitation of pulse-echo times and improve the accuracy of measurement. Experiment indicates the standard deviation of measure data is 7.69 μm. It seems that it will get well applications foreground in the field of roll profile measurement.
