METHOD OF NC TOOL PATH GENERATION

FOR COMPOUND SURFACES

Abstract: A rough milling method for compound surfaces is proposed and implemented. The method can reduce the rough milling time greatly while little uncut material need to be cut in semi-finish and finish process, so the total milling time is reduced. The milling efficiency is promoted. It is proved that the algorithm is stable and reliable.
