STUDY ON TOLERANCE DESIGN BASED ON VARIATIONAL GEOMETRIC CONSTRAINS NETWORK

Abstract: Based on the definition and classification of variational geometric constrains, the generation and kinematic model of variational geometric constraints network (VGCN), the generation rules of tolerance types and representation method of tolerance network are studied, and the optimization scheme of tolerance values are presented. The general framework and prototype system for synthetic design of dimensional and geometric tolerance based on three- dimensional CAD system are established. An example is analyzed to show the scheme to be effective.
