GENETIC MODEL IN EVOLUTIONARY DESIGN OF COMPLICATED PRODUCT BASED-ON

Abstract: A novel approach to describe design process and design of the mechanical product is proposed by evolutionary way. A method is applied to the function decomposition by the function matrix that is composed of the bottom sub-function and its realization part, then consider sub-function as the design gene and make the gene into genome then code and operate. Genetic model of the product design can be got by the way of gene and its expression and other protocols. A framework of the adaptive design model oriented function requirement is proposed and there is some work to research how to express the evolutionary design in uniform style in engineering design domain. Under the role of the model, the open mechanism of the loom can be designed.
