Abstract: It is very important to investigate the liquid drop-solid
impact to prevent material corrosion. Impacts with different diameter
and different speed drops are investigated by the nonlinear coupling
wave model. It is shown that the impacts with different diameter drops
are similar by dimensionless process of results. Meanwhile, the effect
of different impact speed is also investigated, many results as maximum
dimensionless pressure, maximum dimensionless equivalent stress and the
local of the maximum dimensionless equivalent stress are provided. At
last, an equation describing the maximum dimensionless equivalent stress
varied with Mach number is provided too.
