Abstract: According to the requirement of diesel engine particulate reduction,
a new kind of sintered metal mesh filter is developed. The experimental
study on the characteristics of filtration and flowing resistance of
this kind of filter is made, the regeneration system of reverse clearing
is designed and preliminary regeneration experiments are made. The
results demonstrate that the sintered metal mesh filter has excellent
characteristics and can satisfy the requirement of diesel engine
particulate reduction, and the technology of filter reverse clearing is
feasible.
