Abstract: The theoretical and experimental studies on dynamic
behaviors of power transmission helical gear are dealt with. A dynamic
model of eight-mass is established. According to the dynamic model, the
equations are derived. They are solved by numerical integration method.
The tortile vibration, transversal vibration and their interaction are
studied under some typical conditions. The author has built a set of
experimental unit and made experimental studies.
