Abstract: Cushion
is a key problem to develop high-speed pneumatic cylinder. Mathematic
models of built-in cushion pneumatic cylinder are set up. Based on the
relation between absorbed energy and impact energy, research how supply
pressure affect cushion performance. Simulation is consistent with
experimental results. According to analysis, a new type of high-speed
pneumatic cylinder is designed, which has built-in cushion valve with
supply pressure feedback. Experiments show the new cushion mechanism can
self-adapt to supply pressure fluctuation in a certain range.
