NUMERICAL STRUCTURE ANALYSIS FOR THE VACUUM VESSEL OF HT-7U SUPERCONDUCTING
TOKAMAK DEVICE

Abstract: Vacuum vessel is the location for the operation of plasma as one of the key component for HT-7U superconducting Tokamak device. During it operation the vacuum vessel will endure not only the electromagnetic force but also the pressure of boride water and the thermal stress owing to the 250 °C baking out. Firstly the electromagnetic force under the plasma disruption and vertical displacement event is analyzed using the numerical analysis method. And secondly the stress distribution and displacement for the vacuum vessel is analyzed employing COSMOS and NASTRAN finite element software. Some valuable theory basis and analysis method can be provided for the vacuum vessel of the semblable superconducting tokamak device.
