 MODELING FOR 3D CAD PART

Abstract: A framework on heterogeneous material part (HMP) modeling is proposed based on voxel model. The multiple material models and the functionally gradient models are mainly described. Fixed reference feature (FRF) and active gradient source (AGS) are introduced so that the efficiency and the flexibility of modeling process can be strengthened. An operator for the models with multiple AGSs and different directional FRFs is defined. And the Boolean operators, such as intersection, union and difference, are extended to HMP modeling. Then, two modeling examples are presented.
