Abstract: TIG
welding is chosen as the studied object. Arc-weld pool uniform model is
established and welding arc is analyzed basing on this model. This model
avoided the assumption that anode surface temperature is constant which
made simulation on arc more near to real situation and also made the
foundation for combining welding arc and weld pool together. ANSYS
software is adopted and achieved the varied anode surface temperature
with time and current density distribution on anode surface. The
distribution of heat flux was in accordant with current density
distribution. The main reason causing arc pressure by magnetic force and
fluid flow is revealed. Current density and arc pressure distribution
are proved by experiments.
