Abstract: Aimed
at modeling of parts with complex small blend features, a new
re-modeling methodology based on triangular Bézier surface is presented.
With techniques such as adding of mesh point and editing of mesh
topological relationships, the feature blending operation, existing in a
pattern of feature such as X and T formed by the intersection of two
feature regions, is discussed. Application shows that segmented
modeling, patch overlapping and feature blending can present a satisfied
whole representation of complex parts with small blend features.
