Abstract: Stochastic-seismic analysis of a large lifting equipment is carried out considering the influence of local dynamic effect the change of acceleration spectrum value at 42.5 m height of elevation. The related calculating formulas are deducted and the relevant calculating procedure is worked out. The influence of local dynamic effect to life prediction of lifting equipment is investigated through calculation to engineering question, some beneficial conclusions are put forward.
