Abstract: The of the blade faults diagnostic method is presented
which be named the blade-to-blade dynamic space diagnostic method. It
uses the pulse sensors amounted on the shell to non-contact measure the
pulse signal generated by the rotating blade when it pass before the
sensors. Through calculating the relative time intervals or absolute
time intervals between two blades, blades vibration and fault
information can be gained. At the same time, the can ception of rigid
blade and flexible blade are presented. The influence made by blade
vibration on the dynamic space is analysed. At last, the principle of
experimental research and process of this way are discussed. The
experiments and practice application have revealed that the diagnostic
method is correct and effective.
