Abstract: Michanical flow regulation is the key part of cooler.
Using the hydromechanical energy equation, principle of old mechanical
flow regulation is analyzed. And structure design error is found. Based
on it, a new theoretical design method for cooler mechanical flow
regulator is proposed. The design error of new designed mechanical flow
regulator can be eliminated. Furthurmore, it will give a guicance to the
design of mechanical flow regulator in practical application. Simulation
result show that new disigned mechanical flow regulator could improve
effectively adjust performance, and avoid high frequency wiggle like old
mechanical flow regulator.
