COMPUTER SIMULATION OF THE STRESSES AND DEFORMATION ON STRIP ROLLING PROCESSES

 Abstract: The computer simulation of the stresses and deformation on cold strip rolling processes of 900 mm HC  mill is carried out by using the third power spline streamline strip element method to analyze the three-dimensional plastic deformation of strip, by using the influencing coefficient method to analyze the elastic deformation of rolls and by using the BP neural network method to recognize the rolled strip shape pattern. The simulation results indicate that the method and the model accord with facts. The method and the model are of great important to the development of the third-dimension deformation theory, the shape theory and the shape control technology.
