Abstract: Precise dynamic model of engine is the foundation of
making shift schedule and realizing optimal match of vehicle powertrain.
The dynamic torque and fuel consumption models of engine are built
through neural network identification. Based on that, a calculating
method of dynamic shift schedule with 3-paramters is put forward. The
application in AMT test vehicle shows that the dynamic shift schedule
with 3-parameter based on neural network model of engine is superior to
the shift schedule with 2-parameter in dynamic performance and fuel
economy.
