ANALYSIS ON MAGNETIC FIELD OF

Abstract: A 3D electromagnet-iron plate model is established and finite element method (FEM) is used to analyze magnetic field of electromagnet. The magnetic contact of electromagnet to iron plate is considered, the conclusion that the magnetic induction density inside of electromagnet distributes symmetrically about the major axis and unsymmetrically with regard to the minor axis is put forward. And then, the curve between electromagnetic force and air gap is gained by analyzing the influence of air gap on electromagnetic force. At last, the curve is testified on electromagnet test-bench.
