Abstract: Mainly concentrated on computer simulation and evaluated
the crashworthiness performance according to full size prototype test,
the structure optimization technique in mini car crashworthiness design
is discussed. By computer simulation and investigating the
relationship between the front floor deceleration and the structure of
the front end of members, some measurements are actualized on energy
absorption structures, and the peak value of the deceleration is
decreased to satisfying value. The test shows that the crashworthiness
improves dramatically in energy absorption length, quantity,
stability, time and proportion, and the damage level of the dummy
decreases considerably.
