Abstract: A model of pure electric vehicle (PEV) with the ultra-capacitors, based on the software of Matlab/Simulink, is introduced firstly. The precision of the model is acceptable by comparison with the simulation results and the actual data under the CYC_CONST_45. The work flow of the multi-source electric vehicle is olso presented laconically. The result of PEV dynamical performance, economic performance, including even speed, mutative speed, accelerating/decelerating is analyzed. The performance analysis shows that ultra-capacitors can make the performance of PEV better, protect the battery stack and prolong the distance of PEV.
