RESEARCH ON APPLICATION PLATFORM AND VIRTUAL ENTERPRISE MODELING FOR MANUFACTURING GRID

Abstract: By analyzing the difference between manufacturing grid and computing grid, and the limitation of networked manufacturing, application platform and virtual enterprise modeling for manufacturing grid is presented. Firstly, the difference of resource organization and application between manufacturing grid and networked manufacturing is surveyed, and the application platform for manufacturing grid is recommended. Secondly, the application features of manufacturing grid compared with computing gird is researched, such as dynamic business objective, hiberarchy resource sharing, online and offline pattern, submission mode of service result etal., and the connotation of manufacturing grid is also described. Thirdly, by analyzing the different parts of application platform, the operation process from business-chain, resource-service-chain to grid-node-chain is derived and virtual enterprise modeling was constructed based on grid node chain. Finally, the process and algorithm is illustrated with a quantify example. Above Research is benefit for application of manufacturing gird and modeling of virtual enterprise.
