Abstract: Based
on the analysis of the torch movement for the flame numerical controlled
pipe cutting machine, reference planes and related parameters are
defined for the expression of the torch track, intersecting curve models
with groove angle of the pipe-pipe and pipe-plate are also built. And
the principle of z-max is proposed for the intersecting curve of the K
type. The real cutting examples about intersection of pipe-pipe and K
type are simulated and analyzed, and the relationship between torch
track and related parameters is studied.
