OF AN INTELLIGENT APPARATUS OF TESTING THE QUALITY PARAMETERS OF GREEN
SAND

Abstract: In order to solve the problems that there is short of the
apparatus of fast testing green sand quality parameters applied in minor
foundry enterprise, according to the principle of double power
energizing method, a movable fast testing apparatus applied in green
sand quality parameters is developed based on 80C196KC
single-chip-microcomputer and PC. In the foundry, several greensand
quality parameters including compressibility, temperature, active clay
content, moisture, permeability and synthetical strength of greensand
can be tested fast by the movable apparatus. Stability and accuracy are
proved to be high by large-scale experiments.
