Abstract: On the basis of establishing the dynamic model of machine
tool feeding systems, the main reason which leads to cause the vibration
of feeding systems with different tribological characteristics is
analyzed. In order to solve the vibration problem in ultra-precision
feeding systems the two grade feed strategy is presented to raise
synthesis rigidity and guide soft band is adopted to improve the
relation between tribological coefficient and velocity. Finally, the
results of experiments show that high control precision about 10 nm can
be gotten by using the improved measure when the feeding force is 5 000
N.
