Abstract: Topology and location and size of actuation element
integrated optimization method of compliant mechanism system with output
coupling terms control is presented. Firstly, a multi-criteria
optimization model with output coupling terms suppression and
electromechanical coupling effect in the system caused by the actuator
and mechanism is developed. The compliance and stiffness of the system
can be adjusted according to the working condition. Secondly, the
computational procedure of the topology and the actuation element
optimization algorithm is also developed. Finally, numerical examples
are presented to show the validity of the presented method.
