Abstract: Due to the wide range of frequency of engine vibration, a new electrorheological fluid engine mount is designed. By introducing bond graph theory and the structure of electrorheological fluid engine mount, combined with the mechanical model of this mount, a model of bond graph is made. After the model is analyzed, the status equations are gained. The model is simulated with the software of Adams, and the conclusion is drawn that electrorheological fluid engine mount has better performance than traditional engine mount.

Key words: Electrorheological fluid engine mount  Bond graph  Mechanical mode  Simulation
