Abstract: The
essential theory of the mechanical characteristic test of the wiper
motor without torque and speed sensors is discussed in this paper. The
relationship between wavelet ridge and instantaneous frequency is
analyzed and a new method of the mechanical characteristic test of the
wiper motor based on wavelet ridge algorithm is proposed. Experimental
results show that the mechanical characteristic curve of the wiper motor
can be rapidly and exactly acquired based on wavelet ridge.
