Abstract: The
negotiation characters in the multidisciplinary collaborative design are
analyzed, and a negotiation strategy that make the union satisfaction of
the overall goal maximum on the premise of guaranteeing the satisfaction
level of every discipline’s local goal is put forward. The game theory
is utilized to make a formal description to the negotiation strategy,
and a negotiation model used for multidisciplinary collaborative design
is generated. On this base, a negotiation management system is developed
for supporting the negotiation process among the disciplines. Through
synthetically considering and weighting the suggestions of each side, a
recommend scheme is given by the negotiation management system, which
can help the different discipline designers rapidly reach a consistent
design solution of product, and an example is given to illuminate and
validate the model and the method put forward.
