Abstract: To research cutting process in the non-eccentricity orthogonal turn-milling machining, in allusion to the characteristic changed the cutting thickness and deepness continually in the non-eccentricity orthogonal turn-milling process, the cutting edge is divide into the circle edge and the end edge, and the respective model calculating the instantaneous cutting force is founded through researching the respective instantaneous cutting area. And the process of the instantaneous cutting force change is simulated through the mathematical model. It is shown that the non-eccentricity orthogonal turn-milling is the process of variable cutting force under multi-parameters, both the circle edge and the end edge exert the important function on the cutting process, the maximal value of the instantaneous cutting force is decided by the cutting force on the circle edge and the end edge together, but the cutting force on the circle edge is bigger than that on the end edge obviously. The circle edge and the end edge almost cut in or cut out the workpiece at the same time. The instantaneous cutting force on the circle edge brings one break in one integrated cutting process, and no break happen on the end edge.

Key words: Orthogonal turn-milling  Cutting force  Cutting area  Non-eccentricity
