Abstract: On the basis of ferromagnetic hysteresis model presented by JILES-ATHERTON and magnetomechanical effect presented by JILES, dynamics and magnetic parameters identification method is presented for giant magnetostrictive transducer (GMT) in the view of energy equilibrium equation. Aiming at the shortages of too many parameters needed and hard to measure under the actuator mode in JILES model. The method included reasonable deduction and transformation about the model. The method is based on the experimental data, whose experiment is simple and experimental data are easy to obtain. Parameters can be estimated by least square method (LSM), the estimated results is given. The estimated results can provide the reliable parameters for the GMT optimizing control offline and online control.

Key words: JILES-ATHERTON hysterisis model  Giant magnetostrictive transducer  Least square method
