Abstract: A model of dynamic design is brought forward in accordance with its static design, especially its dynamic performance. Taking into account the impacts of the mass to the motion of the spring, a calculation method of the virtual mass is deduced, the dynamic characteristics is analyzed, and some rules of the stranded wire helical spring in reiteration are taken out too. According to the vibration displacement performance, the exceed extrusion in the dynamic working process of the spring is employed as the constraint for the dynamic design and calculation. At last a whole example of the dynamic design and calculation is delivered. The result shows the validity of the method. The research of the method of stranded wire helical spring’s dynamic design and its exceed extrusion provides the-ory foundation of its dynamic application.
