Abstract: A 3D image mosaic technology based on auxiliary target is proposed aiming at 3D surface measurement of big object, and a method using single image to gain the transition
matrix is also proposed. This method uses single image from one camera, and gains the transition matrix between global measurement coordinate and the auxiliary target coordinate by using projective geometry and the restraint of length between control points, and finally completes mosaic. This method avoids the complex operation by using single camera multistation system. It raises the mosaic speed and has higher precision.
