Abstract: Based on performance test of the damper, a quarter vehicle fuzzy dynamic model is founded. A new method on design and stability analysis of semi-active suspension fuzzy control system is presented. Using Lyapunov stability theory, every fuzzy subspace stability of closed loop system is analyzed, then stable condition of whole fuzzy control system is gained. The controller whose core is 80C51 is developed up. The bench test system of quarter semi-active suspension is designed in 1∶1 size, and the bench tests are done. The results of experimsent and simulation are consistent and effective by and large. The fuzzy control system of semi-active suspension is effective and stable, which provides the basic for further study on stability mechanism of semi-active suspension control system.

Key words: Fuzzy dynamic model  Semi-active suspension  Fuzzy control system  Stability
