Abstract: The multi-body kinematics model of the McPherson suspension and the rigid-flexible coupling model of suspension with leaf spring are established by using ADAMS/Car software. The simulation and test of suspension for wagon are carried out and analyzed. The change of each orientation parameter is obtained for the suspension with wheel jumpiness. The change of toe angle of front suspension is in disagreement, which will affect the stable steering characteristics and enhance wheel wear. Compared with traditional methods, the rigid-flexible coupling modeling technique can improve the simulating precision of kinematical moving characteristic of suspension with leaf spring.
