Abstract: The drive principle and structural characteristics of the movable rolling tooth transmission with cam actuating are introduced, the theoretical and working teeth profile equations of central inner gear are deduced. Based on the hypothesis of stretch small distortion and distortion congruity, the model and algorithm of meshing force analysis under theoretical conditions are proposed, the presented method is illustrated through an example of meshing force calculation, and the distributing characteristic of meshing forces of this type of transmission device is preliminarily acquired. The acquired result of meshing force analysis can be adopted as the analytical base for structure design, efficiency and stiffness estimation, as well as intension checkout of the movable rolling tooth transmission with cam actuating.

Key words: Movable rolling teeth transmission  Cam actuating  Mesh pair  Force analysis
