Abstract: To deal with the coordinated issue between motor and engine of parallel hybrid electric vehicle, a dynamical coordinated control method based on the model-match-control method is designed. The hardware-in-the-loop simulation test bench for studying on the dynamical coordinated control method is established, including the hardware system of dual driven motors and the software system based on the Matlab/Simulink/RTWT and Visual C++ developing system. The control method is validated by experiment through the hardware-in-the-loop simulation test bench. The results show that the dynamical coordinated control method which has high torque control accuracy and very good dynamic response characteristics can effectively control the coupling process between motor and engine.
