Abstract:
The new
principle of cylinder gear cutting and two kinds of index
cutting methods, comtinuous and intermittent, are introduced in
this paper, from analysing its feature and productivity, it is
concluded that this new technology has advantages in machining
accuracy, productivity and cost over gear hobbing and shaping,
and is worth to be researched and extensively applied.
