Abstract: In this paper the application
of multi-grid method (MGM) for solving hydrodynamic lubrication
Reynolds equation of dynamically loaded journal bearings is
discussed. The algorithm and its implementation are described in
details. The results of calculations proved that MGM has the
characteristics of fast in convergence and less in CPU time in
comparison with other iterative methods.
