Abstract: A method to estimate the
distribution of radiated noise from the surface of gear box at
design stage is desirable to be developed. In this paper the
influence of whole transmission system on the dynamic force,
applied on the meshing teeth has been researched. The method to
calculate the vibration of the gear box, excited by the dynamic
meshing force, has been developed. The noise radiated by the
vibrational surface has been computed and proved by experiment.
