MULTI-AXES CURVED SURFACE CUTTER GRINDING MACHINE BASED ON MOTIONS

Abstract: Based on the principle of motions composition, a 6-axes curved surface cutter grinding machine is developed. This paper introduces the design idea, the basic structure and the control method of this machine, and taking the cone surface of a drill as an example explains how to implement any required grinding operation by means of multi-axes motions composition.
