FLOW FIELD ANALYSIS AND GRAPHIC CAD DURING

 3-ROLL REDUCING OF THE HOLLOW TUBE*

Abstract: The 3-roll reducing processes are simulated and predicted by using 3-D elastic-plastic large strain FEM on the PC/386 computer. The displacement field and flow field of workpiece deformation are given. The internal angle defects of the seamless tube are studied in detail during 3-roll reducing. The predictions of the forming product quality and technology parameter are realized by means of PC/386 computer.
