Abstract: The transient viscosity
response of a lubricant following the pressure change in a EHD
contact is considered in the line-contact isothermal
elastohydrodynamic lubrication analysed. So obtained pressure
distribution and the oil film thickness are different from those
obtained with equilibrium viscosity.
