Abstract:
An active
control method to suppress the elastodynamic response of a
flexible linkage is proposed. Computer-controlled piezoelectric
ceramics are used as the actuators for producing the control
moments. In addition, the linear quadratic optimal control
theory is employed to design the control regulator with state
feedback. A numerical simulation is carried out for examining
the effectiveness of the active control.
