Abstract: An algorithm in which the optimal control law takes the advantage of the correlation between front and rear inputs, I.e., wheelbase preview information, for an active vehicle suspension design is described. Based on simulations, the potential improvements from wheelbase preview and the effects of preview time are investigated.
