Abstract:
Virtual enterprise is a new form of organization that will be
the dominant pattern of operation for Business and market
competition for the 21st century's manufacturing enterprises. In
the establishing process of virtual enterprise, partner
selection is not only important but also very complex problem.
Choosing competent and compatible cooperation partners is crucial
for the success of virtual enterprises. The factors are analyzed
and the principles that combine quantitative analysis and
qualitative analysis, competency analysis and compatibility
analysis are given. These principles should be abide-by in the
process of partner selection. Finally, a three-stage model of
partner selection and its realization methods are presented.
