Abstract: Dimensions and tolerances are critical engineering information for transferring geometric designs to part manufacturing. A procedure of knowledge acquisition and representation for the tolerance design of injection molded parts are presented, which has been implemented in the development of an "intelligent tolerance advisor for injection-molded parts".
