Abstract: The
capacitated lot sizing problem (CLSP) with setup carry-over is
studied. Setup carry-over means the continuation of a production
run from one period to the next without an additional setup if
the facility produces the same item both at the end of the
current period and at the beginning of next period. An efficient
single forward pass procedure for the problem is presented, and
computational results to characterized its performance are
provided.
