EXPERIMENT STUDY ON SPEED
RATIO CONTROL OF METAL
V-BELT TYPE CVT*

 

Abstract: Based on the control scheme of force and position, the controlling and testing system of metal V-belt type CVT is developed. Having taken account of the complex nonlinear characteristics of the CVT shift dynamics and the saturation and nonlinear characteristics of the speed ratio control valve, the speed ratio fuzzy controller based on the speed ratio feedback is designed. The experiment results show that the developed speed ratio control system is practical and feasible.
