INVESTIGATION OF SIMULATION

EXPERIMENT ON ACTIVE CONTROL

OF TORSIONAL VIBRATION IN A

TURBOGENERATOR SHAFT SYSTEM*

 

Abstract: According to the theoretical analysis and calculation on the base of continuous mass system, the simulation experimental investigation on active control of torsional vibration in a tur-bogenerator shaft system is conducted. A test installation with the excitation of generator motor and multi-stepped shaft system is established to simulate the torsional vibration of a turbogenerator rotor shaft system, and to examine the active control strategy presented. Some useful results are reached in the experi-mental study.
